Partners with The City of Markham and the CenterPoint at Governors State University establishing a regional center for business owners and leaders called The City of Markham CenterPoint for Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs.
This collaborative effort serves as an extension of Mayor David Webb’s vision to provide a central resource center for prospective and existing business owners both public and private sectors. The center provides seminars, workshops and one-on-one counseling to assist and train entrepreneurs and business leaders in the areas of revenue growth, profitability, procurement and operational practices. Topics have included: Building Your Business; International Trade & Exporting for Illinois Businesses; Government Contracting; Financing and 504 Loan Programs; Technology & Intellectual Property Assistance and an Entrepreneurs Boot Camp.
