The purpose of the Markham Chamber of Commerce & Industrial Association is to promote, (foster, and encourage the commercial, civic, educational, industrial, and cultural betterment and improvement of the businesses of the City of Markham and the surrounding areas and more specifically, to promote) the growth and development of the new and existing businesses by aiding and assisting whenever possible.
